2015 is in the past now! Although I’m still waiting for my flying DeLorean and an awesome hoverboard, this year was full of Panda Kickin', amazing races and unforgettable experiences.

As it has become a custom now, here is a recap of 2015:

January
Committed to tri! Started the year with an indoor triathlon event. It was fun and a different take on traditional triathlon.

February
Nothing to report here, just building up and trying to lose weight from the Holidays :D

March
Trilife Triathlon, a good race to start officially the season and to see where I was in overall shape. Out of the blue (and pushed by Bernie as always) I decided to make a roadtrip to Cocoa Beach to race in an inaugural race, it was my FIRST WIN in my age group EVER!

My first win EVER!

April
The Miami Challenge begins with the always hard and competitive South Beach Triathlon, I forgot how tough this race was! Later on the month, St. Anthony’s Triathlon followed, it was the first time I was doing the sprint distance there.

I finally did one of my bucket list races, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon in San Francisco, California!!! What an AWESOME experience, definitely a must do race for any triathlete. Macca said it was the best triathlon in the USA and I can attest that this is true!. Beautiful and challenging…  it makes you feel alive! Back in Miami, the Mack Cycle Key Biscayne Triathlon Trilogy series starts.

The Trilogy continues with race #2. Another last minute race, Hungtinton Disease Triathlon, for the first time, the USAT Florida Region Championship was here and we won the Best Club in Florida Championship due to points… A Championship title earn and not given by any means!

Last Panda Kick of 2015!

What a year it was! It always good to reflect on the past and plan for a better future! Like Doc Brown said:

"Your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one!"

So how was YOUR year? Any major plans for the future?
