Happy New Year everyone! Wishing all my readers the best this new year! Is a time to reflect on the past so we can plan a better future!
Without saying more here’s a little recap of my 2014! Some races mentioned here have reports, so if you want to know more about a race you can click on the link. Let's get started!!!!
Regaining some fitness, not much fun races, but moving forward!
Ragnar Relay! Second time doing this race… and as always too much fun. 6 people in a van without sleep for more than 30 hours! Yup, that’s the meaning of FUN!
A1A Half Marathon: I remember I signed up for the full, but just decided to do the half. Again I broke the 1:50s barrier but still far from my PR.
HITS Ocala: The first triathlon of the season. A cold race for us, but surprisingly I landed 2nd place in my age group.
Heaven EXISTS!!! :D Follow the link to see my 3 seconds of fame!!!
TriMiami: another prep race, missed the podium for one spot,,, 4th place!
The Inaugural Miami Man Speedway Triathlon!!! A really hot race… suffer quite a bit in the run, but still landed in a podium spot!
Heartland Triathlon: First time doing this race in Sebring, Florida! Olympic distance but definitely I wasn’t in shape for this one. Fun regardless!
Enjoying the World Cup with my family back home!
Something FUN (and embarrassing!) the Ice Bucket Challenge!!!
My “A” race of the season Ironman 70.3 Augusta!!! It didn’t went as planned (horrible race for me). The only good thing was the tons of laughs with my friends during the trip.
After the disappointing race in Augusta I felt I needed a redemption race. Enter Rocketman Triathlon in Cape Canaveral! After Sebi Kienle uberbiking skills in Kona, I went on an all out assault on the bike which landed me a 2nd place and a place in the 2015 USA Triathlon Nationals!!!
With the season over… the only thing left is to EAT!! Oh, yeah and my sister’s wedding!
Thanks to the performance in Rocketman Triathlon I got this email. It made my year complete.
So that was my year in retrospective. Here's another cool recap video!.
I have a good feeling about this year… there’s have been an awakening… have you felt it?
Ok, Okay, other than that… I feel 2015 is going to be a good year, plus is my 5 year anniversary of my adventures as a triathlete and this blog!!!
Better make it a big one!
