Have been feeling down lately from several reasons (ankle injury, not being running at all, personal stuff, etc). I feel like Murphy’s have struck me full force.

I am the first one to admit that I have not been myself lately. I got a wake up call last week from a very good friend of mine which basically said “SNAP OUT OF IT”. She reminded me that “what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger”, and basicallymade me switch my grumpy state to a more positive mood. What impressed me is that many people that they really don’t know what I have been going through have been sending me good vibes, as I have been changing my mood.  This is a big shout to you guys,- Thank you all! You know who you are!!! Enjoy some of the videos my friends have sent me!

From Juju: The video has something nice written on it. Worth to remember!
Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.

From Orlany: I saw this back when I was training for Ironman Florida. Good times!!!

From Gema: this is simply awesome!!!

I found this one which is from the new Nike campaign. I remembered when I just started running and how long I have come thru.

I guess everyone excitement for Kona has been contagious. I have been receiving lots of encouragement messages thru Facebook, and inspiring videos to set my mind in “Kona mode”. My friend Mickey and her husband Ryan confirmed me that they will be going to Kona to cheer me on the race, and they are joining Ali and Gabe, so now I will be having the biggest and baddest “spectatheltes” ever!!!  This news came big to overflow my positive vibe week!!! I cannot fully express the gratitude that I have towards you guys, coming half way thru the world to see me suffer!!! LOL

Watching the Men's Olympic Triathlon!

Tuesday was the Men’s Olympic Triathlon, so I took advantage of the occasion to use a used trainer that my friend Ingrid gave me. What an insane race! Congrats to the Brownlee Brothers! I cannot believe that with a penalty and everything Jonathan Brownlee still got 3rd place!!!

Learning to appreciate the simple things in life.

After the hills of Clermont, I have been feeling much stronger on the bike. Although I have been super sore lately, I guess next week I will need to have a knot crushing massage!!!

And by the way today I just noticed I am...

60 DAYS AWAY FROM KONA!!!

HOLY GUACAMOLE BATMAN!!!
